In the begining this book was a little boring but now it is kind of getting better.
One question I had was how much longer will Mark survive with only nasty water and tree rooks?

I wonder if the buffalo thing will ever hurt Mark really bad. It seems like if you get hurt your pretty much giong to die anyway since the people that live there are pretty savage. Another question I have is where is Mark? And what does the light beam have to do with him getting "Transported" to where he is now?

Nick, the bufflo creature is only after Mark becuase he's the only thing the it can find. How many pages should we read this time?

I think maybe Mark will find better water and maybe something to make a fire with so he can hunt something and cook something to eat. Also why do you think the beginning was boring? It seemed mor emysterious then boring to me.

Back around page 60-ish when Mark found the arrow lady with the hurt leg, she stole all of marks stuff during his campfire. I thought that was very mean of her to take things that aren't her's. One question that I had around page 60 was that will Mark be friens with the arrow people?

There are about 240 pages in our book. if we read 60 pages in 8 days we would finish exactly in 4 weeks.
i like only 60 pgs

I got the title wrong.
Do you guys think that this book has any connections to Transall Saga? I think that Judith is kind of like Mark because Mark is very adventurous and he uses his head when he gets into tough situations and Judith is in a tough situaion and is using her head to make the most of it. I think that Phillis Reynolds Naylor makes her characters come alive by making them act like a real person and she makes them seem like theyre right there. Do you guys like the way that Phillis Reynolds Naylor makes her characters come alive?

I think maybe the ghost will be good because it really seems like Charles is the bad guy right now in the story. I think that maybe the ghost is Jade Green because there is no caharacter named Jade Green so far.
mike i don't se the connecton bechween Judy and Mark. there are derferent in more ways then they are alike

I think that they both look for excitement and new things to do in theyre life. Because Judith moved to a completely new town and Mark went to a desert to camp and ended up in a completely new world.

Do you guys think that Charles is suspicious because he seems like he wants to scare Judith out of his father's house so that when his father dies he can get the houe and te entire family fortune. I also wonder if Charles had anything to do with the hand in Judith's room.

I am glad Judith got rid of the picture frame because she always seemed to think about uncle Geoffrey finding the frame in her closet. I also think that the ghost or whatever it is, doesn't like Charles because it hasn't gone near him yet in te story (at least not that we know of).

Mike don't think Charles has anything to do with the hand. This takes place in the late 1800s, and the hand moved acros the room. they don't have the tecnoligy to do that. I think that he had somthing to do with jade's death though. he probly wanted the foutene
